Gary Whelan (right), AFS Fisheries Administration Section President and AFS 2nd Vice President, presents the 2022 Sport Fish Restoration Award for Sport Fishery Development and Management to Jim Markham (left) of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for the project, “Evaluation of Steelhead Stocking Size and Location on Emigration and Adult Returns in Chautauqua Creek, NY.” The presentation was made at the NYSDEC Open House at the Greater Niagara Fishing and Outdoor Expo in Niagara Falls.
