At the 155th meeting of the American Fisheries Society’s Annual in San Antonio, Texas, the Fisheries Administration Section (FAS) announced new officers for 2025-2027. Christian Waters (North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission) became President and outgoing President, Lynn Quattro (South Carolina Department of Natural Resources) moved to Past-President. Lance Hebdon (Idaho Fish and Game) was elected President-Elect and Hadley Boehm (Minnesota Department of Natural Resources) was elected as Secretary-Treasurer. Many thanks go to outgoing FAS Past-President Gary Whelan (Michigan Department of Natural Resources, retired, and now President of AFS) for his years of dedicated service to the FAS. Thanks also go to George Scholten (Iowa Department of Natural Resources) for serving two terms as FAS Secretary/Treasurer.
